Training.

All users must undergo training by a member of facility staff before using the microscopes.  For training requests please follow this link

If you need help with the microscopes please come and find us in the facility office,  call the facility helpline which is 518767 or send an email to the helpdesk at:

igmm-imaginghelpdesk@igmm.ed.ac.uk

The facility policy is that users will have a risk assessment in place for the work carried out in the imaging facility. We ask that users work to the IGMM health and safety policies and good lab practise.

We're always happy to assist you. During core hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm (*) you should find a team member who is available. If we aren't in the offices check the facility rooms.

If you are in a hurry or out of hours first check our FAQs.

Super-users

Additionally, you can check our list of super-users who are available for queries when the facility staff are not available. They have a depth of experience and work closely with the AIR team.

Click on the montage for their details.

If you need more help please submit a ticket.
